Local Advisory Council
The Local Advisory Council (LAC) is a council of consumers and interested parties who advise the CATA Board of Directors on public transportation issues relevant to seniors and persons with disabilities
Local Advisory Council Information
In accordance with 1951 PA 51, at least 50% of LAC membership must be seniors or persons with disabilities. Membership terms are three years with staggered expiration dates.

LAC Events
LAC meetings are held the first Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October and December at 3:30 p.m.
The Capital Area Transportation Authority will be hosting an IN PERSON meeting in the CATA Board Room (4615 Tranter St. Lansing, MI 48910) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.
